Our Policies

  • Strictly mandatory to follow all Covid guidelines as mandated by GOI at all times during the stay.
  • We have a doctor, ambulance, or such facilities on call in case of any emergency.
  • All common spaces at the hostel are CCTV secured.
  • Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, and may also attract an additional fee at the property’s discretion.
  • Guests are required to pay a 50% advance at the time of booking itself. The entire balance needs to be cleared upon arrival at the property during check-in. Please check the refund policy for details regarding refunds and cancellations.
  • Payment modes accepted at our property are cash, debit and credit cards, and UPIs.
  • Any payment gateway charges paid during the time of booking are non-refundable.
  • We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people traveling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
  • Specific policies may apply to different hostels under the brand at specific times of the year and the same shall be communicated at the time of check-in.
  • We are a PET-FRIENDLY hostel chain. We allow pets only in private rooms. Please Note: Pets are not allowed in the dorms and guests are fully responsible for the upkeep of their pets and will be liable for any damages caused.
  • It is mandatory for every guest to present a GoI approved valid Photo ID at the time of check-in. Valid IDs are Passport, Aadhar, Driving license, and Voter card. Every foreign guest at all our hostels must carry and present their passport and a valid visa (in originals) during the time of check-in. Every Pakistani guest at all our hostels must carry and present during the time of check-in: an additional residence permit letter from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad along with the passport and valid visa in originals.
  • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Please do not play loud music after 10 PM as we are situated in a village area, and we need to respect the locals.
  • Right to admission reserved.
  • Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside their personal lodgings. Any meetings with outside guests must be done in the common or shared areas.
  • Hostel management shall not be held responsible for any loss of luggage or personal belongings. Guests shall make sure not to leave their belongings unattended at all times.
  • Meals aren’t included in the room tariff unless discussed specifically and it can be availed on a-la-carte basis at our in-house cafes. Cafe operations are seasonal, and the guests can ask for further information at the frontdesk or by calling at the property.
  • Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
  • All our hostels are CCTV enabled for safety, security, and checks/audits reasons.
  • Certain policies shall be location, season, or time-specific and shall be communicated exclusively at the time of booking or check-in.
  • The Life Outdoor may reach out to the guest for offers, discounts, feedback, and other promotional matters via emails.
  • Guests shall be liable for any damage except normal wear and tear to hostel assets. Guests shall keep the hostel room in a good condition, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Extra mattresses shall be provided at the time of check-in at an extra cost, at all our hostels. It will be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
  • The Life Outdoor cafes serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.
  • The guest shall be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hostels in case of drug abuse, non-adherence of guest and booking policies, misbehavior (Physical/mental/verbal or in any kind), theft, personal hygiene, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds.
  • Power backup is available only at select locations and not at all The Life Outdoor properties.
  • Pets must be fully trained
  • All pets must be restrained or kept on a leash on hotel property when not in the guest’s bedroom
  • No pet should be left unattended
  • They must comply with local legislation requirements
